Comments: Band was an important part of my High School career, and
continued to play an equally important part of my life during college.
I've seen (and heard) some amazing people and worked under some amazing
directors and composers. I've traveled the States following the Louisiana
Tech Lady Techsters in their many quests for the NCAA championship and
I've gotten to play on the biggest stage at Jazz-Fest in front of
thousands! I even married a sweet young color guard captain somewhere
along the way and we have an aspiring two-year old and another on the way.

Hi! You probably don't remember me, Mandi Jones. I was in band for 2 years
94-96, and I played flute and was in the pit during marching season. I
moved at the end of my junior year which was May of 1996. I graduated from
Rockdale High School in Rockdale, TX in 1997. I went to the University of
Texas in Austin, and have not graduated yet. I got married and now live at
McChord AFB, WA. We are scheduled to move to either Dyess AFB or Little
Rock AFB in August of next year. It is so great to see that the band is
doing well. Some of my happiest memories are of being in the NP band. I
know that I am not technically an alumni, but I just wanted to say hello
and to see if you remembered me. If we do happen to move to Little Rock, I

I met my husband Joshua D. Bell in June 2000 and we married in September
2001. We currently live on campus at New Orleans Baptist Theological
Seminary where Josh is finishing his BA in music and will continue through
his masters. I am an Administrative Assistant to the Registrar at NOBTS.
Josh is the part-time music minister at FBC Norco, LA. We are expecting
our first child in January 2006. God has blessed us tremendously

Comments: I never thought I would miss being in the band so much. I played
three years in college, but that was 17 years ago. Our local band director
has started a community band up in our town and so far I have gotten to
play at two concerts and a graduation. I have had a blast! Even my three
kids have tried the trumpet and my oldest has signed up for music. I am so
proud of them. :) I would love to hear from my former band buddies if you
have time to drop a line.
